Utah Wild Lacrosse
The Utah Wild Lacrosse Club was founded in 2023 with a simple but powerful goal: to create a competitive, community-focused lacrosse program that allowed athletes in northern Utah to train and play closer to home. At the time, many players were traveling long distances to participate in established club programs along the Wasatch Front. A small group of coaches, parents, and players recognized the need for a high-quality local option—and decided to build it themselves.
What began as a single team drawing players from a handful of nearby towns quickly gained momentum. Families embraced the vision of a club that emphasized development, opportunity, and accessibility. Word spread, and within a year the club expanded across multiple counties, adding teams at several age levels to keep up with the growing demand.
By providing strong coaching, competitive play, and a positive environment for athletes to grow, the Utah Wild Lacrosse Club has become one of the region’s fastest-growing programs. Today, the club continues to attract players from all over northern Utah, united by a shared love of the sport and the belief that every girl deserves a place to play, improve, and belong.
As the club looks toward the future, its mission remains the same as it was in 2023: to strengthen the game of lacrosse in northern Utah by giving local athletes a home where they can develop, compete, and thrive.
Mission
Our mission is to empower young women through the sport of lacrosse by fostering skill development, teamwork, and confidence in a supportive and inclusive environment. We are committed to creating a positive, fun, and respectful team culture where every player feels valued and encouraged to grow both on and off the field. Through high-quality coaching and competitive opportunities, we strive to help athletes reach their full potential while also providing guidance and exposure to support their college recruitment goals. Together, we aim to build not only strong players, but strong leaders and lifelong teammates.

Our vision is to build a premier girls high school lacrosse club that is recognized for excellence in player development, a strong sense of community, and a commitment to inclusivity. We aspire to create an environment where athletes of all backgrounds and skill levels can thrive, develop a lifelong love for the game, and pursue opportunities to compete at the collegiate level. By cultivating confidence, leadership, and sportsmanship, we aim to shape not only successful lacrosse players, but empowered young women prepared for future challenges on and off the field.
